The 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is a full-size capable SUV that comes with the world’s first-production two-mode full hybrid propulsion system. Available in one trim level, the eight-passenger the Tahoe Hybrid achieves outstanding fuel efficiency. Power-adjustable pedals and Bluetooth wireless technology for select compatible phones are new features available on the Tahoe Hybrid for 2009.

 

Power and performance

 

The 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is packed with a 6.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 332 horsepower and 367 pound-feet of torque and comes with Active Fuel Management technology. Buyers can choose either a two-wheel or four-wheel drive setup.

 

Fuel economy rating of the two-mode electric hybrid propulsion system-equipped Tahoe Hybrid 2WD is 21 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. The 2009 Tahoe Hybrid has a maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds.
