The 2008 Paris Motor Show will be in the spotlight when it kicks off the auto show season in Paris, France, from October 4th to 19th. With energy conservation, alternate fuel sources and electric vehicles dominating the global auto scenario, the Paris Auto Show will be a platform to showcase “green”. Nigel Griffiths, an analyst with Global Insight said that, “The Paris Motor Show will reflect the time we are in. It will preview what automakers will be doing to reduce running costs and be more efficient with resources.” As auto makers attempt to downsize their vehicles, they’re also looking at smaller, more-efficient vehicles, which will run on electricity rather than gasoline.
