The 535xi model comes with Sport Automatic transmission, which adds paddle shift bars on the steering wheel. The wagon achieves 24 miles per gallon on highways.

The BMW 535xi Sport Wagon’s exteriors were updated with subtle details last year. The 2009 model retains those facelifts with no significant changes. The polished metal profile of the 5-Series wagon displays more conventional styling, muted rear end and wrap around taillights.
